I don't think I saw any of these aside from Tim Burton's version of "The Jar," which had a nice Elfman score that's available in complete form on the Burton/Elfman "Music Box" set.Īlong with the poor sales of Intrada's 1980s "Twilight Zone" set, something else that might discourage a release of this is the reportedly underwhelming sales of Varese's third (non-Herrmann) volume of "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour." Even though the 80s typically sell well, I can't imagine a release of the reboot having a greater market than the 1960s "Hour" scores. In addition to the composers mentioned above, this series also had scores by (per IMDB) Michel Colombier, Peter Bernstein, Hummie Mann, Miles Davis, Ernest Gold, and Nicholas Pike. That said, I can't imagine that the odds of this happening are terribly good, given the poor sales on Intrada's set of scores from the concurrent "Twilight Zone" remake. I barely saw this show, but I know that Basil Poledouris, Thomas Newman, Christopher Young, and Craig Safan all contributed scores, so I would pick it up on the basis of those names. Louise falls for Eddie and the two become romantically involved. ![]() Eddie tries to talk to Petes wife Louise. He offers him money for a business, but Peter refuses. I would love theese scores to be released. Eddie Slovak meets an old Army buddy named Pete who once saved his life. Revisiting this amazing episodes and noticing some great, great original scores.Īny chance of a score release from this show, perhaps on a 2CD or 3CD? I know only score from "The Jar", by Danny Elfman, as been released on "Music for a Darkened Theatre". ![]() General Discussion: The New Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1985-89) FSM Board: The New Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1985-89)
